Good Eats: Versatile Tuna Patties


Fueling your body with the right kind of food doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Beyond easy and quick to make, these patties can be made with all kinds of ingredients, the combinations are endless – use this recipe as is or as a basis to create your own flavours!


What You Need:

  • 2 cans of tuna, drained (make sure you drain it really well!)

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ cups chopped red onion (or white if you prefer)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Garlic powder to taste

  • (feel free to get creative and add your favourite veggies)

What to Do:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined

  • Form the mixture into small patties (makes 8 patties)

  • Cook patties in a heated pan or skillet with olive oil (about 3-5 minutes per side)

  • Serve alone with a side salad or rice – or in a burger – however you like!
