Of course workouts are something I promote, but if you’re not moving the rest of the day or moving very little, then I’m sorry to say, that workout isn’t doing everything you think it is for you!


I know, that’s bad news to a lot of you. It would be nice to grind that workout and then resume a couch potato existence the rest of the day, but…no dice. It just doesn’t work that way.

It's not just about hitting the gym or running marathons (unless that's your thing). I’m talking about finding joy in everyday activities that keep your body in motion. From dancing to vacuuming, gardening to playing with your kids or pets, embracing movement in your daily routine is a game-changer.

Walk It Out Walking—a simple yet powerful form of movement that often gets overlooked. It's time to give this underrated activity its due credit! Walking not only gets you from point A to point B, but it also clears your mind, boosts creativity, and keeps your joints happy.

Take a stroll during your lunch break, explore your neighborhood, or even try walking meetings (trust us, they're a breath of fresh air!). Lace up those sneakers and step into the world of walking wonders.

Set a daily step goal and track your progress using a fitness tracker or smartphone app. Take the scenic route whenever possible, use stairs instead of elevators, and park your car a little farther away to get those extra steps in. Your body will thank you for the added movement!
