I’ve got a fun DIY project for you today that has the power to turn a good recipe into a GREAT meal that belongs in your Hall of Fame!
Keeping on theme with easy tips and better nutrition, I wanted to share some DIY Seasoning recipes!
Using the right seasonings can make a HUGE difference in how your meals taste … and today I’m going to show you simple and easy ways to make your own custom spice blends!
Two of my favorite reasons to use your own blends:
1 - You can control how much salt you use (important since most of us get too much – we’re supposed to get 1 teaspoon a day, tops, according to health guidelines) and
2 - You can use just the spices/herbs you want – and not any extra fillers or unnecessary ingredients.
I’ve got 2 DIY spice blends today. Keep them on-hand to toss into your favorite recipes!
Just measure and mix the spices and store in a mini mason jar or small freezer bag. Make sure to label the container with the name and date. They’ll keep for about 6 months.
