Good Eats: Tuna & Salsa Salad

I get a lot of weird looks when I try to explain this salad. It tastes way better than it sounds and looks, I promise!

Since I keep my nutrition, cooking and meal prep relatively simple - I tend to be a throw-it-all-in-a-bowl-and-see-what-happens kind of chef. And this is how I came to enjoy this salad creation - it's one of my favourites!

Tuna & Salsa Salad What You'll Need:

  • 1 can of tuna

  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of salsa (store bought or homemade)

  • Your choice of veggies for your salad base (I like using spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers)

  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

How To:

  • Build your salad base in a bowl with your choice of veggies

  • Add your drained tuna on top (with salt and pepper if desired)

  • Top it off with your salsa (eat as is or mix it all together) That's it, enjoy!!

Change it up:

  • Add in rice (so good!)

  • Add avocados!

  • Serve it in a wrap
