Client Spotlight: Jennifer

Have a break from me telling you how fitness can work for you no matter your lifestyle and hear it from a client instead!

Meet Jennifer - She's a busy professional who has faced some physical challenges over the years and found herself needing to find her way back to prioritizing her health. Despite some injuries that prevent her from being able to do everything she used too, she still finds ways to adapt and adjust. She is awe inspiring when it comes to her work ethic and never quit attitude!

Jennifer: "I contacted Refire Fitness because I wanted to improve my energy, get moving and lose weight. I was tired, lacked energy and was always in some sort of pain…whether it was my back, shoulders, arms, knee etc…

Now, I am feeling stronger and have a tad more energy. I still have some pain issues, but it helps to keep moving and the pain eases off quicker. I just take it easy but don't skip the workout!

I feel stronger and I have better endurance! I noticed on a recent trip to Niagara, I didn’t get so tired from walking like I normally would have.

The online service with Refire Fitness is flexible. I can move my workouts around if needed since I am not tied down to a certain day. It is nice to have someone design my workouts and constantly change them up and adjust them…if my body needs us too lol!

My advice for anyone thinking about starting a health and fitness journey would be to take it one day at a time. A bad day doesn't mean you have failed, it means you are human…just keep trying. If you try, you will get somewhere. If you don't, well then things will never change. Don't give up. We are worth the love and effort to ourselves!

I was skeptical of doing online training. I knew if I had an appointment for a workout and was paying, I would do it. I felt that having to just follow an app and do it on my own might not be motivation enough to do it. But I was wrong! Aside from being ill for a week, I have never missed my workouts! I have had to move them around, but I get them done. I feel better and good about myself for doing so.."
