Fit Fitness Into Your Life

The great thing about fitness is that there is no one right way to do it! You can find and do what works for you and it can be as flexible as you need it to be.

There is no rule that you have to stress about carving out an hour a day to workout - you can break it up however you need - as long as you do it!

If you work full-time, are a parent, a caregiver or if you just have a heavy schedule it can feel like you just can't make your physical health a priority.

But you can!

Here's some small ways you can start fitting fitness into your life:

Break it Up Instead of seeking out huge chunks of time to workout, use what you got! You have a 15 minute work break? Great! You can go for a brisk walk, do some stretches or get in some cardio with do anywhere jumping jacks and high knees! You might not think that this would make any difference, but if you do it daily, then it will! Think of your body like a bank - and your bursts of fitness is your money - deposit your money into the bank over the course of the day and you'll be surprised how much it adds up too!

No Gym or Equipment Required You do NOT need to commute to a commercial gym or buy expensive equipment to get a workout in! Anywhere can be a gym -- your home, the park, a hiking trail, a pool etc...it's all in how you use it. I develop training plans for clients through my Online Personal Training Service that work with whatever they have on hand, even if that's nothing! I can provide an effective workout style that will get you the same results as working out in a full gym would. Send me a message or email for more information! It's easy, flexible and works with your schedule.

Add in Activity to What You're Already Doing

We all have to do the housework so why not use that time as workout time? Turn on some music and get your groove on while vacuuming or doing the dishes, do some squats while you transfer clothes from the washing machine to the dryer etc...Use the time and the activities you do have to get some extra sweat in!
