Good Eats: Steel Cut Oatmeal


A super quick breakfast option that really fuels your morning is steel cut oatmeal! The best part is you can easily flavour it any way you want. You can add a variety of fruit, different kinds of granola and spices including cinnamon.

Steel Cut Oatmeal - Peanut Butter and Banana


What You’ll Need

  • 1/3 cup of steel cut oats

  • About 1 cup of water (depending on the consistency you like)

  • 1 small banana

  • A few drops of vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1 small spoonful of peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup of granola of choice

How to:

  • Place the oats in a bowl and add the water

  • Microwave for 3-5 minutes (checking often for preference of consistency)

  • Add in peanut butter, vanilla extract, banana slices and granola
